welcome to Neonista.blogspot.com website that provides a variety of information about the latest cars in the world. and this time we will share information about the 2013 AUDI RS 6, the following information

The latest RS6 Avant switches from the previous cars twin-turbocharged V10 engine to a new 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8. It features cylinder-deactivation technology – which deactivates cylinders when under light engine loads – in a bid to improve fuel economy and CO2 emissions. As a result, it emits around 100g/km less CO2 than the outgoing car, at 229g/km.
The RS6s performance figures dont appear to have been compromised by the efficiency gains, though. The new engine produces 552bhp and 516lb ft of torque; thats enough to blast the RS6 Avant from 0-62mph in just 3.9sec. Of all Audis in the range, only the V10 version of the R8 supercar accelerates quicker.
The regular top speed for the car will be 174mph, although a higher top speed of 190mph will be available as an option.
The RS6s chassis set-up gets a wider track at the front and rear, with a particularly large increase at the back. Audis Dynamic Mode – with selectable levels of suspension stiffness and steering weight – will be offered as an option, although it was standard in the UK on the previous-generation model. We hope this might be the case again on this version.

Its about 220 pounds lighter than the previous generation RS6 Avant and fitted with stop/start and cylinder deactivation, so combined fuel economy is 24 miles per gallon – thats 40 percent better than before. Shifting happens via an eight-speed tiptronic with improved shift times and a long eighth-gear ratio to boost highway mileage.

The RS6 shall be known by gnarly aero mods outside, set off by matte aluminum and high-gloss black trim, the large rear diffuser and two oval tailpipes. Inside will be lots of black, set off by red and white accents, heaps of carbon fiber and aluminum-look trim, diamond quilting on the seats and new treats like the Formula-One-style shift lights. And oh by the way, it holds nearly 60 cubic feet of your stuff behind the rear seats.source:autoblog.com,whatcar.com
