After taking the decision to transfer production of the next generation Chevrolet Camaro back to the good ol USA, General Motors is striking another blow to our friends up North as the automaker confirmed that it will not be offering the new 2014 Chevrolet SS performance sedan in Canada.
The bad news comes via Globe and Mail, which cites GM Canada spokesperson George Saratlic as the source. In the States, Chevrolets rear-wheel drive, 415-horsepower sports sedan will go on sale towards the end of the year in limited production numbers.
On the bright side, Chevrolets real performance sports car, the new generation Corvette Stingray that was presented at the 2013 Canadian International Auto Show, will make up for the absence of the SS in the brands local lineup.
